The Prints

The predominant process of my work is printmaking and I almost always start on the etching press with a monotype. I spend my time between my studio at home and also the print studio at Kala Art Institute. I work in quite a non traditional way and there are no limits as long as it works on the paper. In some ways I treat each piece much in the same way as a painter treats the canvas. Each piece is an original unique piece of art

Mixed media

Much of what I do is a mix of techniques so you will see that I go from the press, to screen printing, hand painting, hand cut stencilling, applying gold leaf, using collage and vintage decals. Each piece is crafted by hand.

Unique Art Works

All of the artworks that are created go through multiple process, individually hand-crafted with many layers. Some pieces have over 15 different layers and processes before they are completed. Building the layers by going back into the etching press as well as the various other techniques that make each of these pieces the uniques works that they are.
